During this tour, you will head to the summit of Mount Etna, accompanied by a volcanological guide. The tour will begin with a short briefing, followed by a cable car ride and a 4×4 journey to reach an altitude of 2,900 metres above sea level. Upon arrival at the Torre del Filosofo, you will climb the last 400 metres to the summit on foot. In 2 hours, you will cross lava fields and discover ancient and recent eruptions until you reach the summit craters. After spending some time here, you will descend on foot through the sand, cross a lava flow channel and observe other craters. The tour will end with a cable car ride down the mountain.
