From the darkest point on the island, we will read the sky as if it were a book, traveling between history and mythology, expressing wishes between one shooting star and another.
Guided Geological Excursion to Ustica
On this excursion, you will discover all the secrets of the geology of the island of Ustica! We will visit the beautiful area of Spalmatore, dominated by the Punta Cavazzi lighthouse, where you will learn about: magnetic rocks known as folgoranti that drive compasses crazy, an underground cave that leads to the sea, fascinating basalt columns set in a re-emerged beach, rocks that seem like something out of science fiction with their ability to glow, and a fault line that has been extensively studied by geologists from all over the world. All this in a wonderful setting with the sea as a backdrop and black cliffs shaped by ancient lava eruptions as a frame.
