Sicily at the Sanremo Festival 2023

Over the years Sicily has brought to the Italian Music Festival many of its talents, from singers to showmen, stage directors and musicians. Also for the 2023 edition of Sanremo Festival, Sicily will be the protagonist, thanks to the presence of several talented artists who will surely be able to offer a unique and unforgettable contribution to the Italian song festival.

Levante

Levante (pseudonym of Claudia Lagona), singer-songwriter of Caltagirone, will compete at the Sanremo Festival with the song "Vivo" an intimate piece related to motherhood. His unique musical style and powerful voice will surely impress the audience and the jury.

Colapesce e Dimartino

The musical duo composed by Lorenzo Urciullo of Siracusa (aka Colapesce) and Antonio Di Martino Palermo (known as Dimartino) will take part in the Italian Song Festival with the song "Splash" a text that meditates on the expectations that man tends to create to fill the daily. With their introspective and refined music they will try to bewitch the audience and the jury.

The president Sergio Mattarella

Sergio Mattarella, the first Sicilian president of the Italian Republic, will be present at the Ariston to confirm the importance that the government attributes to Italian music and to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Italian Constitution.

Angelo Duro

Confirmed the presence of the Sicilian comedian Angelo Duro, who promises to entertain the audience with his irony and humor. A completely out of the box character who will be able to catch the audience off guard with his irreverence and his politically incorrect phrases.

Fiorello

The showman of Catania Rosario Fiorello will be present at the after festival for 45 minutes of pure entertainment with news, variety and curiosity from Ariston. Fiorello participated in the competition in 1995 with the song "Finalmente Tu" written by Max Pezzali and was a guest of the Festival in the editions 2001, 2002, 2020, 2021 and 2022.
