Blue Flags 2023 in Sicily: beaches for an unforgettable beach vacation

Also this year, were awarded the Blue Flags 2023, the prestigious award given by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) to European coastal resorts that meet quality criteria related to bathing water parameters and the service offered. Blue Flags are a symbol of environmental and tourism excellence and an important tool for promoting the area.

Earning a Blue Flag is not a random achievement, but the result of an ongoing commitment to the protection of the marine environment and the quality of services offered to tourists. To achieve this recognition, coastal resorts must meet a number of strict criteria, including the quality of bathing water, sustainable management of the surrounding area, the presence of adequate sanitation facilities, the promotion of environmental education initiatives, and the availability of rescue facilities in case of emergencies.

The province of Ragusa, is represented by four beaches:
