The Winx on the Aeolian Islands

The Winx, the fairies from the famous Italian animated television series created by Iginio Straffi and produced by Rainbow, have become Italy's new spokesperson in a magical and fascinating adventure to discover Italy's cultural and natural heritage. This initiative, promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was conceived with the aim of letting the international public discover the beauties and hidden treasures of our peninsula through the eyes of the famous fairies.

This extraordinary journey, seen through the eyes of Bloom, Stella, Flora, Tecna, Musa e Aisha leads young viewers to discover some of the most enchanting places in Italy: from the Basilica of Siponto in Apulia to the Nuraghi in Sardinia, via the Aeolian Islands, the Bomarzo Park in Lazio, the Sacra di San Michele in Piedmont to the Venafro Park in Molise. A virtual tour celebrating the richness and diversity of Italy's cultural and natural heritage.

In second episode of this fascinating series, the Winx, summoned by a mysterious voice, will travel to Sicily, specifically the beautiful Aeolian Islands to search for a hidden gem in the area of the former pumice quarries of Lipari, also known as the 'white beach' one of the most spectacular and iconic in the archipelago.

This visibility represents a valuable opportunity to promote Sicilian tourism and culture, with the extraordinary natural beauty of the Aeolian archipelago at the centre of international attention thanks to the charm of the Winx and the adventures narrated in the TV series episode.
