Ingredients
- Succo di limone 250 g
- Sugar 150 g
- Water 350 g
Preparation
To prepare the lemon granita, start by pouring the water into a saucepan and bring it to the boil. Add the sugar and stir until it dissolves completely, making the liquid clear. Turn off the heat and let the resulting syrup cool.
Cut the lemons in half and squeeze them with a juicer. Carefully strain the juice through a sieve until you obtain 500 ml of filtered juice. Add the juice to the now-cold syrup and stir the mixture well with a whisk.
Place the mixture without ice cream maker in the freezer inside a plastic or metal container. After about 30 minutes, take the mixture out of the freezer and break the ice crystals that have formed with a fork. Repeat the operation every half an hour for another two to three times until you obtain the desired consistency for your granita.
