Ustica Island is the summit of a large submerged volcano in the Tyrrhenian Sea, about 60 kilometers north of Palermo.
Ustica is the most suitable location for diving enthusiasts!
The rocky type coast holds wonderful caves and bays washed by dark blue waters!
The most beautiful Beaches are those of: Cala Sidoli and Cala Faro! Also worth a visit are Punta Spalombatore and Punta Cavazzi, where the conformation of the rock forms a real natural pool of seawater.
Ustica's seabed is rich in submerged wrecks, amphorae, and artifacts of various kinds that make up a veritable Underwater Archaeological Museum.
Among the most important Caves is the Water Cave, which has a huge entrance, inside which is a pyramid formed by centuries-old stalagmites!
The largest cave on the island is the Cave of the Secret.
Don't miss the Scoglio del Medico and Secca Colombara, which are ideal places for diving: here groupers and barracuda swim undisturbed, and it won't be difficult to spot shrimp and lobsters as well.
The center of the village consists of three squares! Starting from the town, it will be possible to reach the ancient ruins of the Saracen castle.
In the center of the Island is the summit of the Volcano, Guardia dei Turchi, from where you can enjoy a 360-degree view of the entire Island.
